Business Gateway is a Scotland-wide, funded resource for small and medium-sized businesses to access support to help them grow and develop. Since 2017, we have been providing marketing support to the wide variety of businesses that access the Business Gateway in the East Dunbartonshire, Moray, and East Renfrewshire authorities.

We’re particularly proud of the direct support we provide to the individual businesses through the Gateway, often facing acute issues such as market competition and lack of reach to their consumers. We see what’s needed for their particular business, which can include, taking a deep dive into their market, looking at competitors, consumers, and industry trends, providing insights to help them plan their next steps. For others, we offer tactical marketing advice, making recommendations on how to enhance their activity and help their business flourish in their chosen direction.
Our Solution
Support is practical and implementable, producing real results in business growth. From researching the market and creating a web page for a new product that has real demand, to supplying a content calendar and advice for improving social media and search engine rankings, the work we do produces results.
We also use our extensive marketing expertise to create and produce live training webinars for Business Gateway, so busy business owners can gain valuable skills, for example, ‘How to trade online’, ‘How to grow your social media audience’ and other topics, designed to help local businesses flourish.
To date, we have helped many local businesses grow and develop, directly working with 20-plus on discrete projects directly contributing to their growth and success.
