About us
This is How We Work.
Every Time.
We’re here to put your mind at ease and put our all into helping you achieve your goals.
It’s So Great to Meet You!
It can be a tricky one to navigate. We all know the benefit of an injection of new thoughts, ideas and putting a bit of welly behind a project, but sometimes the idea of working with new people can be scary. Don’t worry, though, we’ll make sure you feel right at home and ready to dive in!
So, Here’s Our Promise to You.
- We’ll always be proactive in working toward your objectives
- You will always know what’s going on and where we’re at
- We will always give you our honest assessment, gently! (sometimes, it’s not what you want to hear!)
- We will roll up our sleeves and do what needs doing – advice is great, but sometimes you want action as well
- We will always be upbeat (we have special ninja training in this)
Our Story
Through the determination of founder Ellie to reclaim life’s everyday joys, she set out to start her very own marketing consultancy based in Glasgow back in 2009… say “Hello!” to Flourish.
Throughout Scotland’s marketing community, Ellie Murphy is known as one of the most inspiring, supportive and hard-working marketing professionals – and friends – to work with. She’s kept the focus on what truly matters in life and in work.
Fast forward quite a few years, and Flourish has grown into a vibrant agency – home to a brilliantly talented team of loveable overachievers. From creative thinkers to data-heads, sports enthusiasts to dog lovers and everything in between, the team brings a powerful mix of personality, perspective and passion to everything we do. We’re proud of our collaborative culture, where everyone’s voice is heard and everyone has each other’s back – and where serious brainpower meets genuine warmth.
Our ethos and approach seem to work. From rail travel, to inspiring cities, to health, lifestyle, food and drink – every brand, even the most corporate or B2B, comes down to one thing: people.
And for Flourish, this is the biscuit tin we can’t keep full. The generous knowledge we share. The support we give through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. The volunteering our leadership puts into action. And the clients whose growth we care about as if it were our own.
Meet the Team
We’ve got the looks, the style, and terrific music taste – if we do say so ourselves. Not to mention bucket loads of cheeky charm. Lucky we’re so modest!

Flourishing in the Community
Purpose drives everything we do. We’re not just here to deliver results, we’re here to make a difference. Whether that’s mentoring future marketers, volunteering in our communities or supporting charities close to our hearts, we believe our skills and time can be used for something bigger.
That mindset runs right through the team. Our Managing Consultant Ellie leads by example, combining strong marketing expertise with a genuine commitment to giving back. Alongside her role at Flourish, she serves as Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in Scotland, helping champion the profession and support the next generation of marketers.
Ellie also volunteers as Head of Marketing for GHA Rugby Club where she leads a team of ten student volunteers to enhance the club’s marketing, giving students hands-on experience while supporting their employability through practical marketing delivery and personal branding coaching.
Across the wider team, community involvement is part of everyday life. Mandy combines her agency role with teaching as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University, mentoring through the Scottish Marketing Network and volunteering as Treasurer of a children’s charity. She is also a committee member at Scottish Women in Business and runs Fiction Break, a book club and growing community for Scotland’s marketers and creatives.
For Jules, volunteering is a central part of life. She supports events through her local school PTA, works with the Harpenden Trust on community celebrations such as the Harpenden Carnival and Southdown Lights Up, and serves as a trustee and leadership team member at High Street Methodist Church, helping guide strategy and mission.
Liam also gives his time locally as a board member of Renfrew Rocks Basketball, supporting grassroots sport while continuing his own passion for the game as a player.
We’ve also gifted time and expertise to organisations including Scottish Curling, the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions and Social Enterprise Scotland. Whether it’s campaign thinking, event support or simply being a sounding board, we enjoy helping good people do great things.
We love what we do, and we’re always glad when we can use those skills to support good people doing great things.
