Five people die every hour from Sepsis in the UK. This monstrous condition is the number one cause of preventable death in the world and can kill a healthy adult in a matter of hours.

I’ve learned a lot about sepsis, and in the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with the amazing team at Sepsis Research FEAT. They do fantastic work funding critical research and I want to support them as much as possible – and what better way to support Sepsis Awareness Month.

I’ve been mad enough to walk the 97 mile West Highland Way to celebrate becoming an old git. It’s been on my bucket list for years, so high time I stopped talking about it and dusted off my walking shoes! I can’t wait, but am pretty nervous about my fitness having had covid this summer (not that I can blame the fitness just on that – too much chocolate and not enough running is mostly the cause!!).
